  Guest House description
In the midst of the most grandiose of the Carpathian mountain resort of Romania, Fagaras Mountains, Pension Cabana Balea Lac is located guesthouse. It is situated on the road and provides a Transfagarasan good starting point for hiking to the peaks Negoiu (2535 m) and Moldoveanu (2544 m).

All rooms are equipped according to international standards. Made of natural wood furniture in rustic style subtly modernized, high quality linens, furnished lavou toilets, shower, toilet, hot water are functional (permanent), hair dryer and cleaner air. All rooms have refrigerator, TV, phone.

The restaurant is decorated in rustic style fully paneled and serves traditional Romanian dishes. Breakfast is served from 8:00 to 11:00. On board facilities are available grilled.

For the three events are available 100 rooms, 70 and 30 seats and services required symposia, conferences, meetings and collective family birthday.

Transfagarasan road is open only in July and August. In all other months the road is closed and the Pensione Cabana Balea Lac can be reached only by cable car.

on entering you will be aware of terrible smell - reminscent of greasy spoon! the pool has its own growth of penecillin, limited breakfast which is a reflection of the service from frustrated staff, no air conditioning, the shower water being yellow (as the general decor). given a 4 star rating - why? should be 2 - for the same price - shop around and stay elsewhere!!
